Dr. Benge earned his under graduate degree at Lehigh University in chemical engineering. He obtained his Medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He completed his urology specialty training at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. He continued a Fellowship of Urologic Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Cancer Institute in Buffalo.
Dr. Benge is a Delaware native and a second generation physician. He has been a partner and in practice with Brandywine Urology Consultants for 20 years. He is a past Section Chief of Urologic Surgery for Christiana Care Health Systems. Dr. Benge has been named one of the Top Doctors by Delaware Today for 2009, 2010 and 2011.
