Dr. Joseph Thornton’s education began at Haverford College, with a bachelor’s degree in 1997. He continued his education at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine earning his medical doctorate in 2001. Dr. Joseph Thornton continued on with six years of extensive plastic surgery training and residency at Albany Medical Center in New York. He joined Advanced Plastic Surgery Center in 2007. In 2008, Dr. Joseph Thornton earned his Board Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has been listed in “Guide to America’s Top Plastic Surgeons” for outstanding cosmetic surgery.
